Teaching / Work Experience
Dr. N. Anuradha is serving as the Head of the Department of Chemistry and Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities & Sciences. She obtained her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry (Nanomaterials) from Osmania University in 2025. She completed her M.Sc. in Modern Methods of Chemical Analysis (Analytical Chemistry) from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal in 2006, after earning her B.Sc. in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science from Kakatiya University.
Dr. N. Anuradha began her professional career as a Junior Chemist at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Rajasthan (2007–2009), where she gained valuable industrial experience in quality analysis and chemical processes. She subsequently entered academia and has accumulated over 15 years of teaching, research, and industrial experience in reputed educational institutions.
Her areas of expertise include Nanomaterials, Physical Chemistry, Photocatalysis, Environmental Remediation, Advanced Functional Materials, and Materials Characterization.
Dr. N. Anuradha's research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of advanced semiconductor nanomaterials for environmental and energy applications. She possesses extensive hands-on experience with sophisticated analytical instruments, including XRD, FESEM, HRTEM, XPS, FTIR, UV-Vis, UV-DRS, PL, Raman, BET, EIS, ESR, and Electrochemical Workstation.
She has published 8 research papers in reputed international SCI-indexed journals, including Applied Surface Science, Optical Materials, New Journal of Chemistry, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, Materials Letters, and Journal of Molecular Structure. She has actively participated in numerous international conferences, national conferences, workshops, seminars, and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) in the fields of Chemistry, Materials Science, and Nanotechnology.
Dr. N. Anuradha is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation. She actively mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students, contributes to interdisciplinary research, and promotes scientific temper through quality education and sustainable materials research.
• Dr. N. Anuradha has actively contributed to NAAC, NBA, Autonomous, and JNTUH inspection activities, including the preparation of accreditation documents, compliance reports, departmental documentation, and coordination of quality assurance initiatives.
• She has extensive experience in Course File preparation and maintenance, curriculum planning, outcome-based education (OBE) documentation, laboratory records, lesson planning, and continuous assessment documentation in accordance with JNTUH, NBA, and NAAC guidelines.
• She has been actively involved in departmental academic administration, examination activities, student mentoring, and institutional quality enhancement processes, contributing to the successful conduct of statutory and academic audits.
